Mindful heart meditation circles

The practice of meditation is a process of getting to know oneself by becoming familiar with one’s mind.

Meditation is intended to:

  • Increase our awareness and ability to be mindful
  • Strengthen our sense of inner peace
  • Improve our ability to deal with our emotions with lightness and ease

Mindfulness allows us a way to:

  • Create space from the constant chatter in our heads that can be a source of distress
  • Calm our minds and slow down our tendency to react
  • Give us a wider perspective on our experience and increases the number of ways we can choose to respond

In order to truly understand who we are, why we are here, we must journey from our mind to our heart.  The heart is the doorway to unraveling the mystery of life.
